Good week... the wild (forest) fires that took 2 lives, over 1600 structures (was arson by 3 individuals) have gotten up to nearly 90% containment here. Bad week...there is now massive flooding with more and more rains daily in those areas, washing debris, soot and chemicals from putting out the fire into the waters.

I try and get washing done during the week, and then clean the house on weekends as I work full time so it’s the only time I can get it done. I do clean the kitchen daily but rest is weekly. (I get spring cleaning done during school holidays which for me is every 10weeks for two weeks break, then Christmas is 6 weeks if that makes sense 😂)

Im going to try the timer and see how it works for me, but the daily/weekly/monthly schedules would be helpful. I'm now retired and suffer and struggle with arthritis in my hips snd back. I'm slow moving and easily discouraged and overwhelmed, watching your channel has helped, thank you.

Hi Jamie, I love your cleaning routine and I'm going to work on it. I do have a back disability so there are days I can't do as much, but i can break it up even if it takes all day. I Habs so much excess of stuff I'm trying to declutter, so would you start the cleaning routine or declutter as I go? Iẅ would like to start fresh. I can't wait for the weekend one😊. It’s funny you do this routine. I started a routine something like this back in the 80s because I started teaching as a new teacher and then I was a new mom. I remember saving Wednesday for just tidying everywhere because I had a teachers meeting every Wednesday no matter what it was till 5 o’clock 😮thanks for bringing back memories but I’ve just got my new home and I am going to back to do this new routine….😮😅😂 it just makes things in life easier.

Put some white floating shelves behind the toilet add a few staples on the shelves plus a fake small plant. I think the green plant would do the trick. Also YES, change that mirror to an oval or round one. Maybe the hand towels in there could have a plant leaf pattern with white background

Hi, could you share what cleaning products you used for your master bath? I tend to struggle with finding proper cleaning products for the shower doors and tiles.

Jamie, Thank you for sharing. I love having a guide or routine to clean my home. There are days that it doesn't get done but that is totally ok. Couple of ideas to help you in the kitchen. Maybe invest in gloves that are cut resistant when you're prepping. The other idea is pre-cut veggies. Which can save time in the kitchen. The downstairs bathroom I would try peel and stick wallpaper, definitely a lighter more coastal mirror, maybe some wood shelves. Looking forward to your next video.

I use to enjoy cleaning! Now I’m 55 and I just dread it. I still do it because I love a clean home but it’s a real struggle now. 😢. Btw I have the same pantry your parents do (it’s small) and I used everything you used in theirs and to this day it works great!!!

Thanks for the guide! How do you handle feeling like the whole house isn’t all clean at once, that’s my struggle with breaking up the rooms each day. Also, when you had Reese, how did you handle the hair? I feel like I could vacuum multiple times a day and that’s just not realistic.

My low point trying to collect unemployment for the summefnbc in didn't get hired for summwr camp at my job and they're done south the school it's a pain getting unemployment. I always love your videos, Jamie! But... I am SO confused! Were you cleaning your stove top backwards in real time? The clock on the stove was counting backwards, but your actions were what I would expect lol

For me i think that we as women have that one room in our house that is our what i call our Happy Place i will put on my favorite music and start in that room that is my happy place and 9x out of 10 i will want to keep on going that works for me

When you do your checklist do you make a portfolio or put them in a folder ?

We went down the road to New Buffalo last weekend. Oh goodness, the tourism was ridiculous. No parking. 1hr wait for the few restaurants down the strip. We just turned around and went back to olive garden lol.
